HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
From only £20 an hour
I only charge £20 an hour in most cases. The only exception to this is if I need to travel more than 5 miles in which case the price will increase to cover the extra time and mileage.
The price I charge is up to 50% cheaper than what you may otherwise expect to pay for other private tutors.
The reason I can do this is because I am retired and my primary purpose is the enjoyment I get from teaching and the self fulfilment it gives me, not the profit I may or may not make from my business.

MY STORY
My name is Neil Hargreaves. I am educated to degree equivalent and have 3 A levels, one of which is in Computer Science. I recently retired after 35 years of working for Blackpool Council, the last 20 years being in senior roles within the IT Service.
During that time, I managed the IT help-desk for 9 years. I was responsible for the procurement and management of the Council's Windows desktop, laptop and tablet estate. I also managed many technical project implementations including IP Telephony and the migration to the many Windows variants from Windows 95 through to Windows 10.
Training, tutoring and mentoring staff was always a passion of mine and that is something I intend to carry on during semi-retirement. I am comfortable tutoring and training IT to all ages, needs and abilities either on a one to one basis or in small groups.
Neil is a first class computer tutor his many years experience shows as he explains all with ease.
Neil does not use technical jargon that leaves you confused he uses straight forward explanations.
His knowledge is first class and I thoroughly recommend him for any age group but especially the older person as his approach is one that my age group, the over 65's would benefit from enormously as he has the patience and understanding you need.
